I just read that intro and was very, very impressed! I’m not in love with Anglicanism but I know the beginnings of a great story when I see one! Well done, and I can’t wait to check out the finished product!
Listen. I do not like fantasy. At ALL with the exception of Narnia and Letters for the King, and Forgotten Hearts by Kiera Cass. But that preview? I could not stop reading! It hooked me from the first line!! Great job!
Nice! If it's half as good as Loch Ness (which I'm proud to have a copy of on my bookshelf), then it's going to be a great read! Can't wait to check it out, it sounds right up my alley!
Wow, you are too kind!!! 😂 I'm praying it's a sight better than my fourteen year old ramblings so if you liked Loch Monster you will hopefully like this as well.
LOLLL okay 🤣 so I was apparently also accidentally referencing your book 👀 that's crazy.
My reference was to a meme someone made a while back (to mock Christians) with a tagline about how premarital eye contact was a sin. A lot of Christians (or at least the ones I hang out with) took it and started running with it as an inside joke....leading to that meme being the first thing on my mind whenever someone says "eye contact".
LOLLL that is actually insane 😂 what the heck are the odds
Oh my goshhh. I mean, in some super fundamentalist circles I'm sure it feels that way. I haven't seen that meme but it does sound funny LOL. I'm grateful that I've been raised in Christian circles that demand purity but also allow for friendship

Thank you, Luke!!! I saw that you are a Baptist, which I can very much respect B)
I hope you enjoy the story when it comes out!
Ooh, I read the first three pages and I like it.
Thank you!!!
(Content warning: Eye Contact.)

Can't wait to read it!! The preview is awesome.
Also, #10 is great. As long as it's not premarital 😶
(hopefully people get that reference; otherwise I'm going to be a very weird commenter)
Thanks so much for reading it!!!
Lol in all blatant honesty I have 0 idea what you are referencing. But funnily enough in my story eye contact is illegal until you're married lol

Same fs
I'm a bit sketchy on #5 but a staunch advocate of #6...under the right circumstances, of course.
I mean, when you think about it, being Anglican is the equivalent of having your mind wiped---so they're pretty much the same thing.
jk jk I love Anglicanism or I wouldn't have put it in the book.
